Cheddar Cheese Muffin with Wholesome Flour

Cheddar Cheese Muffin with Wholesome Flour, keep a stash for snacking, or pop them in lunch boxes or serve a basket of these with lunch or dinner. These savoury muffins are buttery garlicky with golden crusty tops and fluffy moist inside. 

Ingredients:
  • 2 cups of Wholesome Flour
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 /12 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 3 large eggs beaten
  • 1 cup plain yoghurt
  • 1/4 cup butter (melted)
Steps:

Firstly, start by preheating the oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Also, grease 12 large muffin cups. Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt together in a large mixing bowl. Stir in cheddar cheese into the flour mixture. Pour yoghurt, eggs, and butter over the flour mixture. Stir until the dry ingredients are just moistened. Afterwards, spoon the batter into the prepared muffin cups. Bake in the preheated oven until the top just start to lightly brown, about 18-25 minutes.

Additionally, you can also add in more ingredients such as bacon, mushrooms, spinach, zucchini, ham or cooked chicken! Also, you could really turn these savoury muffins into a mini meal as it will be very feeling! 
Furthermore, these freeze well after baking, but of course it is best served warm which you can easily achieve with the microwave.
