Japanese Gluten Free Millet Fusilli is a type of short pasta. It has a chewy texture that comes from rice flour and millet. The colour makes the dishes super gorgeous.

Millet is a family of grains that falls under the “ancient grain” category. It has a wide range of gluten free benefits and can be used in a variety of different recipes. Every 100g of millet provide 9 grams of fibre. Millet supports healthy and regulates digestion thus helping to resolve problems like diarrhoea. It also supports healthy gut flora in our body.

The magnesium content in millet provides different benefits such as improving insulin sensitivity to help in the prevention of Type 2 Diabetes. Furthermore, millet contains numerous antioxidants which protect the body against free-radical damage. Rich in iron as well as folate and folic acid, millet helps prevent anaemia by supporting the formation of red blood cells and maintaining adequate haemoglobin levels. Finally, with plenty of insoluble fibre, millet prevents the formation of gallstones by reducing intestinal transit time.

How to eat deliciously

  1. Boiling time is 5 – 6 minutes.

Because it uses rice flour, it has a chewy texture and is satisfying to eat. As we use the colour of the ingredients there are no colouring agents. It looks beautiful and will increase your appetite.
