Japanese Namisato Gluten Free Pasta
Japanese Namisato Gluten Free Pasta is made of Akita Prefecture’s Akitakomachi one of the most popular rice grain in Japan. Grown locally in Akita Prefecture, this rice is famous throughout the country for its delicious taste inc and similarly superior quality. Rice is the dietary staple of Japan, with Japanese rice cultivation happening all around the country and also in other parts of the world. Rice tastes differently depending on where it is grown, and Akita prefecture happens to have the clear water, fertile lands and great weathers perfect for producing premium quality, great-tasting rice.
What makes this rice flour unique is the addition of white chia seeds and gold sesame seeds. Chia seeds are full of omega-3 fatty acids, fibre, iron and calcium. The gold sesame seeds have a nutty taste, therefore, add a delicate, almost invisible, crunch to the pasta.
Namisato Gluten Free Pasta uses a steaming method that kneads rice flour with steam thus these unsalted semi-raw rice flour pastas are able to achieve a long shelf life of 1 year at room temperature. Combining the unique stickiness, sweetness and umami of Akitakomachi with the white chia seeds and golden sesame, these noodles are perfect for pasta. As this product production line does not use any of the seven major allergens, it is also recommended for those who are allergic to Wheat or interested in Gluten-free foods. How to prepare:
1. Boil plenty of hot water in a pan and add the noodles.
2. Boil noodle to the desired hardness with a standard time of 2.2 minutes. While cooking, you may want to stir the noodles with chopsticks to prevent sticking.
3. Once cooked, drained the noodles in a colander immediately.
4. Drain well and serve in your favourite sauce.
