Japanese Namisato Unsalted Rice Ramen

Japanese Namisato Unsalted Rice Ramen is made of Akita Prefecture’s Akitakomachi and domestically produced rice. You can serve them in a bowl of hot rich soup, frying it together with your favourite ingredients or simply serve them chilled with dipping sauce. Hence there are various ways to serve this fragrant semi-raw noodles.

Namisato Unsalted Rice Ramen uses a steaming method that kneads rice flour with steam thus these noodles are able to achieve a long shelf life of 1 year at room temperature. As a result of combining the unique stickiness, sweetness and umami of Akitakomachi and the domestically produced rice, these noodles are perfect for ramen. As this product production line does not use any of the seven major allergens, it is also recommended for those who are allergic to Wheat or interested in Gluten-free foods.

These Gluten Free Ramen does not contain any flour. You can enjoy it with confidence! Suitable from young children all the way to the elderly. There is no attached soup, so please enjoy it with your favourite soup. This ramen is characterized by the unique stickiness, sweetness and umami of Akitakomachi rice, and its chewy texture.

Ingredients: Uruchi rice (domestic (50% Akitakomachi from Akita prefecture)), cornstarch/brine, gardenia jasminoides pigment, citric acid

Possibility of contamination: Soybeans and sesame

Preservation method: Please store away from direct sunlight, heat and humidity. After opening, store in the refrigerator and served at your earliest convenience.

How to prepare:
  1. Boil plenty of water in a pot and add the noodles.
  2. Boil over high heat for about 2 minutes. Since it has a heavy specific gravity and easily sinks, boil it while stirring well with chopsticks.
  3. After boiling, take it in a colander and wash it thoroughly with cold water. (This is the point to enjoy Komachi noodles deliciously.)
  4. Drain well and enjoy with your favourite ramen soup.
