Rustichella Arrabbiata Sauce is a ready-to-serve sauce prepared by slow boiling of tomato pulp with extra virgin olive oil of the Aprutino Pescarese area. Add chili pepper, garlic, onion and salt to the mix and it’s a classic spicy dish. This recipe originates from Rome and Latium. The most popular short types of pasta, penne rigate, would go best with it.
Ideal on pizza, in stews or soups, over baked or broiled meat or fish, or even as a finishing sauce for risotto. Serves 2 or 3.
Preparation instructions: Ready for consumption at room temperature. Or heat up over low flame
Storage: After opening, keep refrigerated and consume within 3-4 days.
